Terms of Use

The rules for using RescueMe.

These Terms apply to the Rescue Your Future Self mobile app (“RescueMe”) and this website, provided by Posh Tunnel Ltd (“Posh Tunnel”, “we”, “us”). By using RescueMe, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Who can use RescueMe

RescueMe’s body-goal and calorie features are designed for adults. You must be at least 18 and legally able to agree to these Terms to create an account or use those features.

You are responsible for access to your iPhone and email account, information you enter, and activity through your account. Keep sign-in codes private and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

2. What RescueMe provides

RescueMe is a fantasy wellness game for recording food, water, weight, movement, habits, quests, and rescue progress. We may offer local features, account backup, Rescue Circle, cooperative play, Apple Health integration, and provider-backed food, voice, or image tools.

Features can differ by country, device, app version, subscription, allowance, or availability. An advertised future feature is not a promise that it will launch.

3. Wellness and safety

RescueMe is not a medical device, healthcare provider, dietitian, emergency service, diagnosis, treatment, or substitute for professional advice. Calculations, nutrition records, barcodes, serving sizes, calorie estimates, body-goal timelines, Health summaries, quests, and AI results can be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, or unsuitable for you.

Do not use RescueMe to ignore symptoms, delay care, pursue unsafe food restriction or compensatory exercise, or make an urgent decision. Seek qualified help for medical conditions, pregnancy, medication, eating-disorder concerns, nutrition, or exercise safety. Use local emergency services in an emergency.

Notifications, widgets, Live Activities, friends, and quests are not reliable for medication, hydration safety, supervision, emergencies, or any time-critical action.

4. Permissions and content you provide

Apple Health, camera, photos, microphone, and notifications are optional. You decide whether to give iOS permission and can change it in Settings. You are responsible for reviewing entries, estimates, and permission choices.

You keep your rights in photos, recordings, text, and other material you provide. You give Posh Tunnel and the providers needed for a feature a limited permission to process that material only to deliver, secure, and account for the feature you requested, as explained in our Privacy Policy.

Only submit material you have the right and permission to use. Do not submit another person’s image without authority or any unlawful, deceptive, exploitative, non-consensual, sexual, violent, or provider-prohibited content.

5. Food, voice, and AI results

Food databases, community package records, product images, barcodes, speech transcription, and AI can be wrong or refer to a different product, recipe, amount, market, or person. Check packaging and review every suggestion before saving or relying on it.

Future Me is an artistic motivational image. It is not a prediction or promise of your appearance, weight, health, or time to a goal. A generated image may contain mistakes or unexpected details. Voice and AI suggestions are review-only and are not logged until you confirm them.

6. Rescue Circle and cooperative play

Rescue Circle is for gentle motivation, not competition, monitoring, emergency response, or medical supervision. Sharing starts off, and each person controls what friends can see. Missing, delayed, estimated, or private progress does not prove anything about another person’s health or behaviour.

Do not harass, pressure, shame, impersonate, or try to secretly identify or monitor another player. Players may mute, remove, or block connections. Cooperative bosses may expire unfinished and do not guarantee another person’s contribution or any health result.

7. Fair use of the service

You must not:

• break the law, infringe rights, impersonate or harass someone, or upload prohibited material;
• access another account, share credentials, extract secrets, bypass subscriptions or allowances, automate abuse, overload the service, or test protected systems without permission;
• present RescueMe estimates as verified professional or medical advice;
• copy, resell, or commercially exploit RescueMe or its content without written permission; or
• use photo, voice, or AI features to deceive, exploit, threaten, or harm someone.

We may reasonably limit, suspend, or end access when needed to protect players, providers, security, service integrity, or legal compliance. Where practical, we will explain the reason and give you a chance to appeal or export account information.

8. Subscriptions, AI allowances, and Apple

If subscriptions are offered, Apple shows the price, billing period, trial terms, tax, and renewal details before purchase. Apple charges your account and subscriptions may renew automatically unless you cancel. You can manage or cancel them in Apple Subscriptions.

Deleting RescueMe or your RescueMe account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Use Apple’s process for cancellations and refunds. A Restore Purchases option is available in the app for eligible purchases linked to your Apple Account.

A paid plan may include a server-controlled, non-rollover AI allowance. It is a service limit, not money, stored credit, or a transferable item. When the allowance is used or a provider is unavailable, manual and local features may remain available while provider-backed actions pause.

These service Terms supplement Apple’s Standard End User Licence Agreement, which governs the licence to use the iOS app where it applies. Apple is not responsible for RescueMe support except where Apple’s terms or law say otherwise.

9. Privacy and adaptive routes

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. RescueMe may use broad patterns stored on your device to change optional quest count, order, target tier, category mix, explanation, or fantasy difficulty. This is motivational adaptation, not diagnosis, professional coaching, or a guaranteed result.

You can choose a gentler route, return to the ordinary route, pause adaptation, or reset local learning. Do not follow a quest when an activity is unsafe or unsuitable for you.

10. Ownership and your app licence

RescueMe, the website, software, fantasy world, characters, artwork, text, designs, and trademarks are owned by or licensed to Posh Tunnel. You receive a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use RescueMe on Apple devices you own or control as Apple permits. This does not give you source-code, trademark, resale, or derivative rights.

Third-party food data, images, Apple services, open data, and provider materials remain subject to their own rights and licences.

11. Availability, changes, and ending use

We may maintain, fix, update, add, remove, or limit features. We will give reasonable notice of material changes where practical and where law requires it. Internet, Apple, HealthKit, hosting, email, food-data, and AI services can be unavailable or change.

We cannot promise uninterrupted operation, permanent preservation of device-only data, compatibility forever, or a particular health, weight, social, or game result.

You may stop using RescueMe at any time. Signed-in users can delete their account from Menu → Profile → Account & devices. Remember that account deletion does not cancel an Apple subscription.

12. Consumer rights and liability

Nothing in these Terms removes rights you have under consumer law or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Subject to those protections, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when you agreed to these Terms, business losses arising from personal use, provider or platform decisions outside our control, or failures caused by events we could not reasonably prevent.

13. Governing law, changes, and contact

These Terms are governed by the UK law that applies to Posh Tunnel. This does not remove mandatory consumer protections or your right to bring a claim in a court available to you under applicable law. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern.

We may update these Terms when RescueMe, providers, subscriptions, or the law change. We will explain material changes where required. The date above identifies the current version.
